Brundage Mountain Resort-Summer

There is so much to see and do in the state of Idaho, but those at Brundage Mountain Resort hope you make their resort one of your stops this summer.

One of the most amazing things that you can do within the resort in the summertime is to take a scenic chairlift ride through the mountains.

Aboard the Bluebird Express, riders can see the Payette Lake in Long Valley, the Seven Devil’s Wilderness and even Oregon’s Blue Mountains. Once you’ve reached the top, you have many options for your descent.

Some take the lift back down the mountain, while others opt for hiking or mountain biking to the bottom. Over 20 miles of hiking and biking trails will greet riders and hikers within Brundage Mountain Resort.  Beginners are encouraged to try out Elk Trail that makes its way through forests and meadows. Experienced outdoorsmen should check out Zorro, a more “technical route” down the mountains.

In nearby Riggins, Idaho, visitors will enjoy a trip to Brundage Whitewater Adventures that offers trips down the Salmon River.  Their raft trips travel down Class II, III and IV rapids and placid pools and are perfect for all rafting levels.  The rafting trips can be planned in half day trips or up to five day trips depending on how you are in Idaho.

The towns surrounding Brundage Mountain Resort, namely, Riggins, Donnelley, McCall, New Meadows and Cascade, all offer a variety of accommodations like hotels, condominiums and bed and breakfasts.

These towns are also home to numerous shopping villages and dining opportunities.

So, whether you have one day or five days to visit Idaho, a stop through Brundage Mountain Resort is necessary and very worthwhile.
