For over 70 years, Lookout Pass Ski Area has been providing some great, yet affordable skiing, in Idaho.
What skiers and boarders love about Lookout Pass is the opportunity to ski in two states on one mountain, both Idaho and Montana. With 23 trails, 2 glade areas and 540 acres for skiing, there’s no question as to why Lookout Pass Ski Area is popular among skiers and snowboarders.
New this year is the Timber Wolf chairlift providing 5 new trails. Lookout Pass is also home to two terrain parks, the “Exit Zero” and the “B-52”. Highlights of the “Exit Zero” park include launches, boxes, banks and rails, while the “B-52” terrain park features a 1,111 foot long quarter pipe.
There are numerous places to stay in and around Lookout Pass Ski Area including The Stardust Motel, the Molly B’Damm Hotel, Beale House Bed and Breakfast, The Brooks Hotel, Lydia’s Hideaway, The Lookout Motel, and many more.
As far as dining options go, those at Lookout Pass suggest checking out their new sports bar and lounge called the Loft Pub and Grill.
They have also completed a new 6000 foot lodge addition to provide a new food court, food service seating and retail and accessory shops. The Summit House Café will also be open atop the mountain, serving hot and cold drinks, hot dogs, hamburgers, soups and assorted snacks.
If you haven’t visited Lookout Pass Ski Area in Idaho yet, this winter make the trip and see what the buzz is all about.
